Richard Howarth holds an M.B.A. degree covering business and management, and has a diploma in CIFS Financial Studies. As an expert in Business Turnaround, he established himself in the areas of wealth creation/portfolio management, strategy development and execution, operational and supervisory oversight, recruitment and graduate development, relationship management and high computer literacy.

Mr. Howarth has more than 30 years of solid experience in varied roles in Banking – working as Corporate Manager and Senior International Corporate Manager for Barclays Bank Plc.; Regional Market Leader for Africa Barclays Wealth; and Global Market Leader for Standard Chartered Private Bank. He also founded African Private Office LLP, which is a consultancy business providing advice, assistance and operational support to corporations and wealthy individuals in Africa and elsewhere. Mr. Howarth has attended a wide range of high-quality training events throughout his career, including Advanced Selling Skills, Leadership in Action, Presentation Skills, Business Development, Advanced Negotiating Skills and Performance Coaching.
