Azikel Group is a premiere conglomerate and is the largest indigenous corporate organization in Bayelsa State and Niger Delta of Nigeria. Azikel Group comprises four companies: Azikel Dredging, Azikel Air, Azikel Petroleum and Azikel Power.
Azikel Group’s ideas and philosophies are centered around sustainable development, through industrialization, infrastructure development, energy sustainability and petroleum product sufficiency – resulting in development of Nigeria’s people and creating employment and wealth. Azikel’s focus is on the areas that are critical drivers to societal development and sustainability, where as a group we have the highest expertise.
Azikel Group has excelled in dredging, sandfilling/stockpiling of sand, and reclamation services. Our extraordinary competence in refinery technology will ensure a sufficiency of refined product in Nigeria, with the aim of reverting Nigeria’s status as a net importer of refined product to an exporter of both refined product and crude oil. The production of sustainable electric power will provide electricity for Nigerian industries and communities, as well as guaranteeing safe travels within Nigeria and internationally.
Azikel Group was founded more than a decade ago by Dr. Eruani Azibapu CFR, a medical doctor and distinguished billionaire businessman, who in his early days acquired the skills of trading by working closely with his father, Chief Allwell Eruani, a successful entrepreneur. Dr. Eruani entered the world of business, having achieved great experience and skills through his medical practice, work as a civil service carrier, and time spent in the oil/gas industry. His experience is enhanced by his business training at the London Business School and the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania. Through active participation in his father’s business, Dr. Eruani gained the motivation to understand and appreciate business and entrepreneurship as a tool for self-actualization, industrialization, employment generation, empowerment, wealth creation and sustainability.
