GreenStratos is consulting firm providing professional advisory services to both private and public sector enterprises, government agencies and individuals. They conducted the pre-feasibility study on the Power Evacuation of the Azikel Power Plant in Bayelsa state.

Geo-environmental Resources is a Nigeria-based firm. It is licenced by the Federal Ministry of Environment to carry out both environmental and social impact assessment of project sites. Geo-environmental Resources is serving as the consultant with Azikel Power for the conduct of the Azikel Power Plant site’s environmental and social impact assessment.

Jacobs Consulting is a UK-based firm renowned for providing of both technical and professional services in the area of engineering and operations. The company is contracted for the ESIA Gap Analysis to meet the Equator III Principle.

TCN is noted in Nigeria for electricity transmission and system operations. As part of its functions, TCN participated in the Power Evacuation Studies for the Azikel Power Plant Project. It has granted a provisional approval to connect Azikel IPP to the TCN grid.

NBET will be the off-taker of the electricity generated by Azikel Power. Azikel Power has engaged with NBET, and preliminary discussions are ongoing with regards to signing the Power Purchase Agreement with NBET. As a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), NBET is under licence from the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) for the bulk purchase and resale of electric power and ancillary services from IPP and from the successor generation company.
